What is Healthy Families?
Healthy Families Oregon (HFO) provides intensive home visiting services for families expecting or parenting newborns in every Oregon county. Services are voluntary and can continue for up to 3 years. The HFO model is anchored in relational health, partnering with parents to enhance skills and confidence, improve family functioning, and increase nurturing parenting. HFO home visitors provide one-on-one support, connect families to community resources, and offer hands-on parent education so parents learn the skills to raise healthy, thriving kids.
Our Coalition’s Mission
We are a coalition of highly committed Healthy Families Oregon regional leaders and champions. Through collaboration, advocacy, peer-support, and training, HFOC is the foundation that strengthens the Healthy Families Oregon network, creating equitable and inclusive communities where all children and families have the opportunity to thrive.
